The Kinabalu has an extensive history. Now in its third generation, Scott has given the shoe a full redesign improving comfort, versatile traction and running efficiency on the trails.

Breathable Mesh Upper

The Kinabalu 3 have an extremely lightweight and durable ripstop mesh upper that keeps your feet ventilated and fresh. The lightweight mesh fabric encourages air to circulate, whilst built-up heat escapes. This will mean that the feet will stay cool and comfortable, on those long runs. With quick-drying properties, sweat and moisture build-up is reduced, for dry feet when your workout becomes intense. Thick overlays at the toes will protect feet on the trails by preventing injuries from bumps and knocks you may receive on the trails. The shoes also include a thermoplastic support cage that will keep the foot in a firm and upright position, preventing you from rolling or twisting out of position. The shoes feature a traditional lacing system that provides a locked-in feel and reduces in-shoe slippage. The no-sew toe guard reduces the risk of irritation from rubbing and chafing within the shoe.
